Friuli Colli Orientali

Dry white wine made from the pinkish-grey grapes of the homonymous grape variety grown in the “Vigna di Rosazzo” vineyard in the Colli Orientali del Friuli district. The grapes were harvested and selected by hand. Subject to soft pressing, they produced must which was initially racked off cold and fermented slowly at a low temperature

plate

It is dry, full and harmonious on the palate, lingering considerably.

alcohol content

The alcohol content is between 12,5 and 13% by volume.

acidity

Total acidity is between 4,5 and 5,5 per thousand.

the presentation

It is presented in Bordeaux bottles made of dark glass, which preserves it from light-related damage.

how to conserve the wine

If stored at a constant temperature between 12 and 14°C, it maintains its fragrance for years. It is best served between 10 and 12°C, in long-stemmed crystal goblets.

gastronomy

It is best appreciated with refined entrées (prawns, caviar, San Daniele unsalted cured ham…), consommé, vegetable risottos, Parma-style aubergines, char-grilled fish, soufflés and delicate egg dishes.
